THE DOUBLE DUTCH HOLIDAY CLASSICâ„¢ is divided in two events or segments, with separate competition formats for the two distinct forms or categories of Double Dutch competition.
1) STANDARD SPEED & COMPULSORY. Each and every team entering the Speed & Compulsory event is obliged to execute:
(a) Standard Compulsory Test and (b) Standard 2 Minute Speed Test. The scores from each of the two standard tests will be combined to determine first through eighth place positions.
2) FUSION. Teams in the Sixth grade through Open Division categories can register for the Novice or Advanced FUSION competition categories. Teams registered for the FUSION categories can also compete in the Standard Compulsory and Speed test categories. But, their speed test or compulsory test score WILL NOT be combined with their Fusion test score. Novice and Advanced Fusion tests are judged and scored independently.
A minimum of 1 FUSION TEAM must be designated to participate and represent their international country in the Speed & Compulsory Test in their age division.
A FUSION TEAM is made up of no less than THREE team members and no more than SIX team members.
